My Self
I am Juliana Canonigo Lagahit, I'm 19 years old. On July 23, 2003, I was born. I live in Brgy. San Roque, Tolosa Leyte. I am the eldest among my siblings. My favorite pastime is reading and sleeping. I have things I want to do as well, but I lack the courage to do so. I also enjoy exploring trying to get out of my comfort zone. I also enjoy watching old Filipino films, particularly dramas. I'm just a simple and an introvert. Actually, I'm a lazy person, but when I think of my dream, it immediately motivates me to do the things I can't do. I sometimes come to a point in my life where I disappoint myself and lose hope in my dreams. But my family, especially my parents, and my dreams inspire me to do what needs to be done. My skin and height are my two biggest concerns. Because my skin is sensitive. I've also been bullied because of my cute height and because my eyes aren't equal, which is inborn and not a disease, so I'm not worried about it.
As a person, I am generous and helpful. I know how to get along. But when the kindness I have is taken for granted, I distanced myself. My parents taught us not to rely on others and to work hard. My parents instilled in me a helpful, kind, and generous spirit. We are not wealthy, but we know how to share our blessings.
As a daughter, I have many dreams for our family, especially for my parents who didn't give up on providing our needs and to educate us and support us in our studies. Every day I pray to God to give my parents a long life and a healthy body until they witness the success they dream for me and my dream for myself and for them.
As a student, it's hard to study because I'm not smart, but everything goes through difficulties and hardships before you learn. Mistakes teach us the most valuable lessons in life. I'm willing to face any hardship for my dream and my parents, regardless of how lazy I am. If it's for my dream and my parents, I can handle anything. I'll struggle, but I'll never give up until I succeed.
